Owner & Head/Neck/TMJ Specialist
Headshot of the owner of Stability In Wellness, a physical therapy clinic serving Jupiter, FL, and specializing in the treatment of TMJ, head and neck pain.

Dr. Hanna Shays is a physical therapist specializing in TMJ disorders, head and neck conditions, and orthopedic injuries, with a focus on identifying and treating the root cause of pain.

She works with active adults who want more than temporary relief and helps them return to training, performance, and daily life without ongoing limitations.

Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Dr. Shays developed a strong foundation in movement and performance through years of competitive soccer. She participated in the Olympic Development Program, played at the regional level, and later played for UNC Chapel Hill’s club team. This background continues to inform her clinical approach to biomechanics and human performance.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida in 2019.

Early in her career, Dr. Shays worked in stroke rehabilitation, gaining extensive experience in neurologic recovery and movement retraining. She later transitioned into orthopedics to build a more comprehensive, root-cause approach to care that integrates both neurologic and musculoskeletal systems.

This combination of neurologic rehabilitation and advanced manual therapy allows her to address both the mechanical and neurologic contributors to pain, an approach not commonly found in traditional orthopedic settings.

Dr. Shays has advanced training in dry needling and orofacial myofunctional therapy. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Indian River State College.

Dr. DeLuca is a physical therapist specializing in orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, and vestibular disorders, with a focus on restoring movement and helping active individuals return to the sports and workouts they enjoy.

Originally from Florida, Dr. DeLuca developed a passion for movement through years of competitive dance. While attending Florida State University, she served as captain of the dance team during her senior year. After experiencing multiple sports-related injuries, including reconstructive ankle surgery, she gained firsthand insight into the rehabilitation process and discovered her passion for physical therapy.

She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Florida State University in 2016 before receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2020.

Throughout her career, Dr. DeLuca has treated a wide variety of orthopedic, sports, and vestibular conditions, helping patients regain their edge. Her approach combines hands-on care, movement analysis, dry needling, and progressive rehabilitation to address the underlying cause of dysfunction rather than simply managing symptoms.

Dr. DeLuca has advanced training in dry needling and utilizes it in her treatment sessions to improve her patients' outcomes. She excels in return-to-sport rehab, and specializes in the shoulder, foot, and ankle injuries.
