Specialization in Jaw Pain & Oral Myofunctional Therapy
We are one of the only clinics in all of South FL that takes a special interest in treating conditions of the head & face.
Emphasis on Hands-On Techniques
Unlike many clinics, we place an emphasis on manual therapy and other hands-on techniques.
Dry Needling
Dr. Shays has been performing dry needling since 2022. She has had success using this technique to address a variety of conditions in her patients, and is one of the few providers in the state of FL to have completed 3+ courses in dry needling.
Neurokinetic Techniques
NeuroKinetic Therapy is a corrective movement system that identifies and treats dysfunctional movement patterns stored in the brain’s motor control center. By releasing overactive muscles and reactivating underused ones, we can help restore proper neuromuscular coordination and movement efficiency.
Collaborative Care
​We understand the complex interactions between the nervous system and the body. This also means that we understand our limitations. Should we feel that you may benefit from the expertise of another provider, we will make the necessary referral (acupuncture, dietetics, pelvic therapy, mental health counseling, dentistry, orthodontics).
