Dr. Hanna Shays, PT, DPT
Hanna Shays is an Active Release Technique Certified and Dry Needling Certified Provider with a strong background in neurologic rehabilitation. Her manually-based approach combined with her background in neurologic rehab enhance her ability to effectively evaluate and treat her patients. She has completed coursework in Dry Needling I & II, Active Release Technique for the upper extremity, Chinese Medical Massage/Cupping/Gua sha, Geriatric Orthopedic Rehab, and is a credentialed Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. She also serves as Adjunct Professor at Indian River State College's Physical Therapist Assistant Program.

Dr. Shays is passionate about assisting active and motivated individuals. She takes a special interest in treating low back pain & conditions of the head/neck and arm. She feels privileged to have worked with clients from all kinds of backgrounds, from professional athletes to recreational athletes, dentists, nurse practitioners, corporate CEOs to small business owners, and private clients from young adults to seniors in South Florida.
About Me
I am originally from Raleigh, NC, and played elite-level soccer starting at 10 years old. My love for athletics allowed for me to discover my passion for biomechanics and how the human body functions.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Exercise & Sport Science with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016 and went on to receive my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a Top 10 Program- the University of Florida in 2019. I then made my way down to Palm Beach County to be with my husband, who is a South Florida native.

My background in neurologic rehab and love of manual therapy gives my treatment approach an edge, allowing me to effectively address the connection between mind and body.
