Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Take Insurance?

Where Are You Located?

No, we are out-of-network with all insurance plans. However, we do accept HSA/FSA cards and can generate a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimburesment.

We are a mobile physical therapy clinic that comes to you. Our services are delivered around Northern Palm Beach County, from Tequesta to Palm Beach. We have also partnered with various gyms and wellness centers to deliver care onsite. These spaces are located in Juno Beach, Lake Park and West Palm Beach.

Do I Need a Referral to be Seen?

Florida Direct Access allows for a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat appropriate musculoskeletal and neurological conditions without a referral.

Having quick or immediate access to your physical therapist can make the difference in your condition being temporary and quick to resolve.

Should your condition be found to be outside of the scope of a Physical Therapist, you will be referred to the appropriate practitioner of record.

How Many Visits Will I Need?

Everyone's individual presentation is different, which makes it impossible to predict the exact number of visits that you may need. However, individuals experiencing chronic pain will require more visits than if the problem is acute or new. During your first visit, Dr. (Gierman) Shays will collaborate with you to determine the best plan that works for you and your scheduling needs. We pride ourselves on avoiding scheduling patients for excessive therapy sessions, helping you get back to feeling better fast and doing what you love.

The best thing about being out-of-network with all insurance companies is that the clinician and client can come to an agreement on what plan suits their needs. This means that the schedule can be tailored to the client's needs--whether it be a single session or more.

Our treatment programs & packages allow for you to purchase your care up front for a value below even our non-mobile competitors. These sessions never expire.
